I believe Peter Storm who is my sons g-g-grandfather is a different Peter. This Storm family came to the U.S. at the beginning of the 20th century. Settled in East Central Illinois - Shelby county near Stewardson/Strasburg - eventually moved to S. Dakota (where they had relatives) for a while and then returned to the Strasburg, IL area. I am not certain where most of the descendents live. Two live in Coles County in or near Mattoon, IL - Trent and Troy Huckstead and my sons in the Chicago suburban area Derek and Joel Storm with 6 more descendents Jeffrey, Alec, Nicholas, Cole, MacKenzie, Ryan.
It is likely they are related to the descendents you mention but how close?
