Hiram Gustavus Roberts was born 1 March 1824, the son of William Roberts and Elizabeth Ernandez (not sure of spelling of her last name). He married 22 May 1844 in Hinds County, Mississippi to Mary Jane Daniels, and he died 1863 in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
