Hi Ed,
John McConnald Strickler b. 15 Jul 1889 d. 20 Aug 1963 md 10 Dec 1915 to Florence M Smith=> Musser who was adopted by Peter R & Nettie Ann Musser. She was born 9 May 1900 and died 8 May 1994, a day short of age 94.
John is the son of George Vasco Strickler and Carrie Boswell.
John's children:
Raymond Ellsworth Strickler 10 Apr 1915-1 Jul 1971
Clyde Emerson Strickler 1 Nov 1917-8 Dec 1936
Robert Lamar Strickler 2 Aug 1919-1996
Nettie Strickler 14 Aug 1921
John Strickler 21 Nov 1923-28 Oct 1939
Harold Strickler b. c 1925
Any information on relatives of these children would be greatly appeciated. I have but scant few details of their descendants.
This Strickler lineage is a "dead end" lineage that cannot be proved passed Isaac Strickler and Martha Jane Gorrell. There is some indication that he MAY be a son of Jacob Strickler, son of Johannes and a descendant of Hans Jacob Strickler a 1737 immigrant. Unfortunately no records connecting these families has been found.
