researcher, as a Bertha B Sease
seems to have married into these
Tyrone Twp Sricklers.

JOHN B STRICKLER DIES
Was one of Upper Tyrone's Best
Known Citizen's.
John B Strickler, 82 years old,
one of the oldest and best known
residents of Upper Tyrone township
died yesterday at his home at
Hickory Square following a lingering
illness. Hardening of the arteries
was the immediate cause of his death.
The funeral will probably take place
tomorrow afternoon with interment
in BETHEL CEMETERY.
Mr. Strickler was born May 2, 1831.
He was a son of John A and Margaret
Bowers Strickler who at their time
were among the most prominent
residents of Upper Tyrone township.
Deceased was a retired farmer
and in addition to his widow
is survived by two sons, Harry
Strickler at home, and Frank
Strickler at Broad Ford.
