I am trying to determine the parentage of my ancestor William Strong, born about 1801, possibly in Goochland County, Virginia. He married Ann Binkley 27 Apr 1823. I see in some family lists that Sherwood Strong, who married Mary Tibbs, had a son named William. I'm curious if that is my William.
Along the same lines, I'm also interested in determining the rest of my Strong ancestors. William Strong is such a common name, and there were also several Sherwood Strongs.
Any clues?
