MARY "POLLY" STRONG dau. of Joseph Strong and Mourning Denton was born on June 15, 1829 in Jackson County (Clay County), Tennessee
In 1845 Mary Polly Strong married Elisha Rich in Jackson County (Clay County), Tennessee.
Mary Polly Strong died on June 15, 1912 in Clay County and was buried next to her husband Elisha Rich in the Macedonia Cemetery.
In 1907 Elisha Rich filed an Application for Cherokee Funds that indicates Elisha Rich's birth date as December 2, 1829. However his gravestone shows November 2, 1828.
