Calling all descendants of the Early Rapides Parish Strothers (1840-1850).
We will hold our annual Reunion on April 22 2007 in Oakdale, LA., at the Lion's Club Youth Activity Center, East 7th Ave.
The building will be open around 9:00 AM, come early
The meat will be provided, just bring a covered dish
We are very exited about the reunion this year. Three Great Grandchildren of ALEXANDER A STROTHER, Sr., plan to be with us.
They are JOHN R STROTHER, born 1913 -age 93, MARY (Srother) ROBERTSON born 1915 - age 92 and EFFIE MAE (Strother) BURTON born 1922 - age 84
These people have a ton of information
One of the things that JOHN R STROTHER was telling me is completely different from the information we have on the death of ALEXANDER, Sr., his source is very good
Another thing they will tell us is where the STROTHERS lived in MS., before moving to LA.
Bring your tape recorders and come on
