Looking for Strother James. b. 1807 South Carolina
m. Sarah Asbell (b. 1837; Christopher Asbell, Susan Cadwell m. 1829 St. Clair, AL).
His first wife was Jane _______???, then he married Sarah.
By 1858 Strother and Sarah were in Alabama; 1858 and 1860 Dekalb County, and in 1870 in Franklin. By 1870 Strother must have died, because Sarah married Peter Smith 9-7-1879 from Etowah Alabama.

Strother and Sarah had children: Margaret Ellen James, Laura James, John E. James, Jimmie Henry James, Joseph Warren James; total of eleven children.
