Edward M. Strother m. Sarah Ann Johnston in Carroll County, Mississippi on March 9, 1837.
They had a daughter Francis Strother who lived with the Wilson family at "Briarwood Plantation" in Carroll County,Mississippi.

Nothing more is known about the Strother;s above. That theredaughter lived with theWilson's may be as a result of her parents death's.

Sara Ann Johnston was the daughter of Zilpha and Benjamin "Pitchfork" Johnston.
