Hi Robin, I am Wallace E. Ellifritt. My paternal Grandmother was Viola Olive Stutler. She married Ruebush Ellifritt. They resided in Greenwood, Doddridge County, WV.
Mary Ann was the sister of my ggrandfather William P. Stutler, who married Esther Ann Randolph.
Mary Ann Stutler and John G. Yerky had twelve children. About par for the course in those days. William P. and Esther Ann had fourteen. It's no wonder ther are so many of us descendents out stirring the ancestors pot.
Mary Ann and John's children were as follows:
Mary Elizabeth Yerky, b. 1835, d. 16 August 1882. m. David Richards, b. 1836, d. 1927. Nine children.
Jamina Yerky, b. 1837. m. John S. Burnside;
Abagail Yerky, b. 1841. m. Isaac C. Hill, b. 20 Feb 1833, d. 6 Mar 1910;
Barbara Ann Yerky, b. 1843. m. John Mintor;
John P. Yerky, b.1845. m. Fannie Nutter;
Amanda Yerky, b. 1846. m. Jack Furbee;
David Yerky, b. 1847. m. Mary Virginia Cleavinger;
Margaret Yerky, b. 1849. m. George W. Post;
Thomas H. Yerky, b. 1856, d. 1930. m. Minerva Jones;
Ellen Yerky, m. Benton Romine;
Salathiel Yerky. m. Alta Richards;
Lewis Yerky. m. Joy Ash;
This is from a pretty good genealogy I have only in hard copy. I have only extracted some of the information pertinent to my family from it, so I do not have it all in my computer data base yet. I addition, I have some other hard copy sources which contain info on Yerkys, but I will have to massage them a bit to find things you might be interested in.
