All I have to go on are some cryptic notes from my mother's cousin. Although there is no baptismal cert, there was a reference to "baptized Ardfert parish", so it was not in Tralee proper. Therefore, I need to explore the possibility that his family lived in Ardfert rather than Tralee (though Tralee was listed in his obituary --- maybe similar to saying someone was born in LA when actually they were born in Burbank). I've ordered his death cert, hoping that will reveal more info. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Kate!
