SULLIVANS OF TRALEE, CO. KERRY

Jeremiah & Catherine (Connor) Sullivan had the following children while living in Tralee: Ellen - b.1807; Catherine - b.1809; Daniel - b.1812; John (my gr-gfr.) - b.1817 and Dermott - b.1821. These children were born in several parishes including Ratass, East and/or West Curraghleha, and Curraheen. Their baptismal sponsors were: Jeremiah Connor & Margaret Savage; Thomas Collins & Margaret Stack; John Sullivan & Catherine Sullivan; John Shea & Bridget Connor and Denis Shea & Joanna Connor. John Sullivan (see above), his wife, Mary O'Connor, and their children emigrated to the U.S. in the late 1860's and traveled throughout New England as John worked as a weaver in the textile mills. Jeremiah & Catherine may have had other children, but these are the ones that I've tracked down so far.
