I have inherited a genetic heart condition from my Sullivan ancestor. Until today, I wasn't sure whether it came through the Sullivans or the LaPointes, but had a confirmation from a posting I read on the Sullivan website.

Would like to be in contact with the Sullivans from the New Glasgow, Nova Scotia area to make them aware of this condition. It is called idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic stenosis.

I had heart surgery a year ago September to help repair the condition.
