Greetings Justin, Jeremiah Darby Sullivan is my 4G grandfather. I understand that many of these Sullivans, after felling all the timber in Ontario, went west and founded some large sawmills and lumber operations in the SF bay area. Jeremiah's son John L. 1807-1898, moved to RI, NYC and finally to the western PA oilfields around 1842. He married Margaret ULN, born IRE. Their daughter Margaret Sullivan, who was born in Brooklyn NY 1835, married my GG grandfather John Henry Weaver who was a farmer in Clarion county PA. Their son Jerome Nelson Weaver married Mary Zerbe in 1886, and their daughter Mary Weaver was my grandmother. Jerome was a wildcatter in PA/WV. Did not know Darby died at sea, or that Timothy died logging. how do you know this? I have a great photo of Margaret Sullivan if you are interested. Don't have much more on the Sullivan lines, but will send you what I have if you like. Joe Notify Administrator about this message?
