Catharine M. Brooks married William P. Sullivan July 19, 1861 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. Catharine was previously married to James Brooks--they are enumerated on the 1850 Federal census in Grainger County, Tennessee. Catherine's maiden name may have been Williams. I have not been able to locate this family after they married. When William married Catharine, she had four children: Matildy, Nathaniel, Isaac, and John H.--children's father was James Brooks. Does anyne have information on these folks?
