According to my family records, John Alexander was born on 4/6/1854 in West River, Pictou Co., Nova Scotia. He married Christine Ann Bannerman (b 5/1/1854 in Barney's River Nova Scotia). You listed her name as Christy Ann, and the 1901 Census listed her as Christyanna, but I'm confident she's the same person, based on all the other family info. I didn't have any of her parents or siblings info, though, so thanks for those.
I knew of 9 children, vs the 10 you listed. Eight of my 9 are obvious matches to 8 of your 10:

Alexander (b 5/17/1881 in Nova Scotia)
Beatrice D. (b 4/17/1883 in Manitoba)
Ethel E. (b 5/29/1886 in Ontario)
William J. (b 5/8/1889 in Ontario)
Ida M. (b 7/25/1891 in Ontario) - perhaps the same as your Margaret
Rhoda S. (b 6/30/1893 in Manitoba)
Lulu C. (b 7/4/1896 in Manitoba)
Kennith A. (b 5/16/1900 in Manitoba) - I don't know for sure where I got this spelling, so it may or may not be correct).
Jemima was my Grandmother. She married John Francis Prendergast (b 2/25/1866 in St John's Newfoundland) (m 8/16/1899 in Christ Church, Winnipeg, Manitoba). I can provide quite a bit of their descendant info if interested.
I'd also be very interested in any other family info you can provide - sounds like we're probably cousins.
