I may have so info. I am working on the Sutherlin line in Putnam County, Indiana. My 5 gr grandfather was George W. Sutherlin, born in Burke Co., NC 1781 and died Putnam Co., IN 1842. George's great grandfather was Joseph Sutherlin (Southerland) born 1690/1695 in Prince George, VA. Joseph died about 1739 in Meckenburg, VA. It would seem possible that David Sutherlin, who as you know married Nancy Ward 12-4-1827 in Putnam Co., IN could be another son of Joseph Sutherlin (Southerland).
