I am looking for information about George Washington Thomas. He was born 25 March 1818 in Alabama. He lived in Jefferson County between 1818 until his death in the 1860's. George married Juda Elvira Ratliff on 7 April 1833. They had six children William A., Monroe S., Hiram Judson, Melissa, Susan, and Thomas N.. They had a farm in Jefferson County AL in 1834 near Elyton, AL. I belive his father was George Thomas and his mother was Rebecca Love.
