I would like to urge any male THOMAS descendants with KY, AL, and NC roots to submite your DNA for testing. This may be the only way the families can be sorted out. I am searching for the parents of William L., Edward, John William Delay Fletcher, and Mary E. Thomas, all born KY between about 1807 - 1817. They and their descendants are enumerated in the 1840-1850 Greene Co AL census, 1860-1870 Choctaw AL census, 1880 - 1930 Sumter AL census, Itawamba, Tippah, Pontotoc, Union MS census, and Smith Co TX census.
