1860 census: Sterling, Worcester MA has: H. Thompson (probably Henry), 21, MA, living with a Butterick family and has Wm. Thompson, 21, MA living with a Bailey family.

1870 census in Sterling, Worcester, MA shows Gilson Thompson, 58, 300, 0, works on farm, MA; Mary, 60, MA; Henry, 31, $1,500, $500, farmer, MA

1870 census in Clinton, Worcester shows: WIlliam Thompson, 32, works in farming, 0, $500, MA, MA, MA; Emma J., 20, MA.

1880 census in Sterling shows: Henry Thompson, 41, farmer, MA, MA, MA; Margaret, 69, mother, MA, MA, MA; Wm. S, 9 nephew, MA, MA, MA; Walter H., 6 nephew, MA, MA, MA.

Also Gilson THompson is shown as marrying Mary S. Tenney, 1 Nov 1836, Sterling, Worcester, MA.
