I'm researching my forbear Thomas John Thompson, born 5 November, 1855 (some records say 1856) at Castledawson, Derry, Ireland, died 27 September, 1938 at Hastings New Zealand.

Father: Hugh Thompson, a farmer of Maghera, Derry
Mother: Esther Phillips, also of Maghera
Wife: Elizabeth Aitken Dempster, of Antrim, Derry

I'm collecting all details about his children, wife and her family, his brothers and sisters, and as much of his forbears as I can gather, at this site:
