Margaret Sophronia Simons md. James Lewis McDowell 1852 in Carroll County, TN

I am searching for more information on Margaret Sophronia Simons who married James Lewis McDowell in 1852 in Carroll County, TN. I believe they are in the 1870 census for Carroll county listed under John L McDowell. This John L has a wife named Sofronie. James Lewis McDowell died in 1873 and a Sofronie McDowell appears in the 1880 census for Carroll County with some of the same children that appeared in the 1870 census. She is listed as a widow. Would anyone know who her parents are? Would anyone have a death date for her or know more about her children?
