Looking for a listing of those buried at Curtis Cemetery southeast of Alexandria, DeKalb Co., TN.
The following reportedly buried there:
Thomas Curtis - 1822-1895;
Thomas' wife - Mahala Hale - 1822-after 1895;
Mahala's brother - Reuben B. Hale - 8/5/1832-4/25/1896;
Reuben's wife - Sarah Catherine Vantreasse - 8/16/1835-7/23/1934.
My wife and I were recently in that area and found the "entry" to the "Curtis Cemetery - 1848". Walked into the property but could not locate any sign of a cemetery.
Any suggestions?
