I have found a cemetery that has approximately 10 to 15 unmarked graves that is located in a cow pasture on the property of Mr. Benson Northcutt. I almost positive that my fifth great grandfather and grandmother Thomas and Nancy Harrison are buried there. I have land deed for Thomas Harrison which describes the land as bordering that of William Bostic. I believe that Bostic Creek in Hawk's Hollow was named after William Bostic. William Harrison lived next to L.B. Bostick in Coffee County 1840. I believe that this is the son of Thomas Harrison. Bostick Creek runs off of the Elk River. It follows along behind the homes that are on Hawk's Hollow Road. I have a land deed for Eli W. Hamby and wife Arkansas that mentions the property lines of B.J. Thompson and C.F. Hord. According to the estate settlement of Thomas Harrison, there was a court case Thompson and Hord Vs. Nancy Harrison. I believe that this proves that Thomas and Nancy Harrison lived on what is presently known as Hawk's Hollow Road if the land that Eli W. and Arkansas Hamby owned is on this road. There is a man named Henry Hamby that is presently living on Hawk's Hollow Road. He is the neighbor to Benson Northcutt. This is the only proof that I have that my fifth great grandparents are buried there. Also interesting is that Arkansas Hamby is Racheal Arkansas Sartain. She is a granddaughter of Thomas and Nancy Harrison through their daughter Susannah Harrison. If anyone out there has any information about any of these families I would love to hear from you. I am planning on writing a book which is going to include an early history of the area known as Roberts Cove, aka Browns Hollow, aka Bonner Hollow, and now Hawk's Hollow. I have been researching early settlers of the area known as Roberts Cove and have a great deal of information on this subject. My e-mail is javertech@cafes.net. Sincerely Judy Ann Harrison Vaughn
