That Public Tree belongs to Joyce Elaine McKee, but is being done by Patricia Irvin. Her husband is the grandson of one of the brothers of my Grandmother.
We have been exchanging information and photographs, via e-mail and cd's, on the Irvin and Nunley families.
I have Pheriba(Pherilla) Nunley as being born in 1844, and died in Grundy County on 19 Oct 1917. I have her marrying Harrison L. Stills on 14 Jan 1868. Is this basic information correct?
The 1870 Census of Davidson County has Frely Stills-25, and 2 Stills children-James Stills-5, and Murphy Stills-2, living with the Jerry Nunley family in Goodlettsville. But in the 1880 Census of Grundy County, it is Pheraby Nunley- not Stills-- with J.M.R.-13, and I.M.-11, along with Pheraby's brother, George Nunley-23. From this period on, she uses the Nunley name in all of the future Census. Do you know what happened to H. L. Stills-death, divorce? When, where? Do you know where Pheraby is in the 1910 Census? I find her two children, James and Isaac Murphy, and their families, but not her. I am trying to flesh out my family tree with information on all of the Nunley children, so any info you could provide would be helpful. Do you have any photos of Pheraby Nunlley?
