Hello everyone. My 3rd great-grandfather William A. Lannom died in Monteagle, Tenn. in July, 1893. I know this from an obituary published in his hometown of Nashville. The Nashville obituary doesn't go into detail about the cause of death. I'm wondering if Monteagle (or overlapping counties) had a newspaper in 1893 as it's possible his death would have been noteworthy. He was a fairly successful Nashville businessman visiting Monteagle for either business or pleasure.
Thanks for any assistance you may have in this matter. I have been searching forums without luck.
