Now I did not find FUDGE in Haywood Co., but I did in a border county, being Lauderdale. Between where I find the John B. FUDGE for the 1830 census (Madison Co., TN), and the county where I find him for the 1840 census, (Lauderdale), sits the county of Haywood.
