I am trying to locate the possible burial site of my great-great-great grandfather Isaac Brock. He was born about 1804 and was living in Lauderdale and Haywood Counties during 1870-1880s. He is widowed in 1870 as is his son Isaac N. (jr). I believe he married a Sophronia Blythe/Blye from Haywood Co. as that coincides with 1880 census information from Lauderdale Co. TN. There is another marriage record for I.N. Brock to a Fannie Bennett, ( I am assuming the younger) who apparently either moved with Isaac N. or died after their marriage leaving her daughter, Mary H. Brock in her parents household in 1880. Isaac N. is in his brother John's household 1880 Montague Co. TX (Mollie Brock is with her father in 1900 Oklahoma Indian Terr). Also in Haywood County are Isaac's granddaughters Elizabeth Brock (I believe she is the Lizzie Brock who married the Fox on marriage records (they are in Grayson Co. TX in 1880 as are her parents) and Annis/Annie/Anna Victoria Miller who also married in Tennessee (her younger sister Elnora is living with her uncles, Isaac N. and John in 1880 Montague Co. TX). Lizzie died young and I can't seem to connect any descendants. Don't know who Victoria married but oral history is that she "didn't come with the family". Any help greatly appreciated.
To make things even worse my Brocks were in Murray Co. GA in 1850 residing next door to Caleb Taylor and John Taylor. My Brocks moved to Franklin Co. AL in 1860 and Caleb Taylor from 1850 GA is also in 1870 Haywood Co. TN. I have a strong suspicion that Isaac Brock's first wife Intha was most likely the daughter of John and sister of Caleb. Again, any help greatly appreciated.
