Looking for the parentage of William L. Macon who married Martha (Mattie) Anne Bain in 1871 in Haywood, Tn. Have reason to believe that he _may_ be connected to a W. H. Macon of Fayette, Tn (1825-1860) but do not have conclusive proof nor further information going beyond that. Need all the help I can get--even reference suggestions (especially considering I'm on the West Coast).
