By 1870, both W. H. and Sarah J. are dead. I say this because I find their children living in a household of TURNER, in Haywood Co. Julia, the head of the household, is a widow (because she is listed with the money and property), and she was born in IN as was Sarah J. After checking, I found that Simon TURNER md. Julia M. Leonard on June 28, 1853 in Fayette Co., TN.
This matches the fact that there is a male LEONARD, who appears to be single, living in the household, and he also was born in IN.
