Hi,
I am trying to get some information on the Antioch Baptist Church on Tibbs Rd near Brownsville. I believe Mary Ford Whittle donated the land. McKnight Whittle was a Baptist preacher in that area somewhere between the early 1860s until sometime around the early 1900s. Any information you can give me on these Whittles or the Hicks children that lived with them would be greatly appreciated. They were Mary's neices and nephew, Elizabeth, Mary Teresa and Henry Thomas. I believe the house the Whittles lived in and the church are both still there. Does anyone have a picture of either of these places?
