ABSTRACT Obituary of J.F. BUCK, formerly of Henderson Co TN Decatur County Herald, Decatur County, TN Friday, 21 OCT 1921 MRS. P.W. MILLER received a telegram last Friday night about death of her brother-in-law, J.F. BUCK. Died: 7 o'clock that morning at his home. Married: 1886 to Miss Ella SMITH at Lexington. Children: daughter Willie, son Guy Their mother died young. The children became a member of the BARRY family for many years. Sympathies to: daughter MRS. BUCK b 29 FEB 1864, died West Plains, MO -Ella E. SMITH Buck b 26 MAR 1865 HeCoTn, d 15 NOV 1890 HeCoTn, and was buried in Lexington City Cem., HeCoTn. She was the daughter of John SMITH b NC and Emeline E. FULLER Smith b HeCoTn, who are buried in Lexington City Cem. Ella was the granddaughter of Jordan FULLER and Elizabeth CONYERS Fuller of HeCoTn, who came to HeCoTn around 1823 from Franklin Co. NC. -Mrs. P.W. Miller was Hettie Eugenia SMITH b Lexington, HeCoTn, who married 1st HENRY BARRY, brother of W. V. Barry (editor/owner of Lexington Progress newspaper); and married 2nd P.W.MILLER in DeCoTn. Hettie was buried in Decaturville City Cem., Decaturville, DeCoTn. Hettie took over the Decatur County Herald newspaper after her husband Henry Barry died. Notify Administrator about this message?
