Where was Morning Sun?

My great-grandfather, Jim JAMISON (or JIMERSON), enlisted in the Confederate army in 1862, in Morning Sun, Tennessee. The community or town seems to have disappeared. Does anybody know anything about this?

Apparently there was a battle there in April 1862.
