Mike, "The Lexington Progess" was the main newspaper of Henderson Co. TN. It has been preserved on microfilm and microfilms are available at Tennessee State Library and Archives, Nashville, TN; Everett Horn Library, Lexington, TN; other libraries; and can be obtained ON LOAN through any Mormon Family History Library for a fee of around $6.50 from the Mormon Family History Library in Salt Lake City, UT. There is also a book of compiled obituaries from "The Lexington Progress" and other sources, Henderson Co TN. The name of the book is: CROSSING THE DARK RIVER Henderson County, Tennessee, Obituaries 1827 - 1950 by Brenda Kirk Fiddler, Lexington, TN, 1999 I checked in this book. There is no index of female surnames.
