I am looking for information on the family of Abraham and Catherine Green who appear on the 1850 census in Henderson Co., TN. Abraham is listed as born in NC abt. 1807; his wife Catherine is listed as born in TN abt. 1822 (I don't know if this is accurate as first child in household is only 11 years younger!).
Children listed are:
Lydia b. abt. 1833 TN
Elizabeth b. abt. 1835 TN
Greenbury b. abt. 1837 TN
Susan b. abt. 1840 TN
Joseph b. abt. 1843 TN
Mary b. abt. 1844 TN
?Comdes (not sure about this name) b. abt.1847 (female)
twins Sarah and Nancy b. 1850 TN
I have been unsuccessful in trying to locate this family in any other census. I am trying to find out if the Mary Green in this family is the same person as my Mary P. Green b. 1844 who married L. Samuel Stout in Lafayette Co., MS in 1859 and later married John Ashley Austin in 1866 in Madison Co., TN.
I am also trying to place an Arahn (Aaron?) T. Green, b. abt. 1855 in TN, who is listed in the 1870 census for McNairy Co., TN in the household of John and Mary (Green) Austin.
Any information on this family would be appreciated.
