My dad, Wm Thomas Gray (he dropped the Wm when he went into the service,)was born in Centerville, Hickman Cty TN, in 1918. His parents (my grandparents) were: Scott Leslie Gray & Inez Renee Sarah (Lynn) Gray. My GrGrandparents were: Wm Robt. Gray & Ida Mae Mar(r)s, they had 3 children. Grampa, Scott Leslie, Samantha Victoria (who married a Rossen and moved to Nashville) and Addie Leota (who married a Warren and lived in BonAqua). GrGrampa Wm. Robert Gray was shot and killed, 5/3/1914 in Nashville. On his death certificate it states that his father's name was "Joe" and mother's name was Amanda (Fowlkes or Faulkner) can't quite make it out. I have searched surrounding counties websites and have found the Gray family name in the area. I know they came up through the Carolinas to Tennessee. Would love to at least get the names of my GrGrGrandparents correct so my search could continue. Thanks for any help
