I am seeking information on a Samuel Studdart, who lived in Cumberland county before 1820. He and his family moved to stewart county, Tn and died there in Tennessee. I believe he was a lawyer by trade. he had a son named John, and John's daughters were born in Ky. Daughters married Hagler Brothers in Tennessee in either Henry, or Stewart co., Tn. the Studdarts might have been related to the stewarts, and Samuel Studdart might have been born in Ireland.
John Studdart might have moved to Hickman Co., Tn.
