Mitzi, Thank you so much for sharing your information regarding the Bells with me. This has been a hard line to research and I can go to a certain point then I hit a wall. I can tell you what I know by working backwards:
Stephanie Huddle Angelopulos (me)
Brenda Bell Huddle (my mom)
Claude Bell 1904-1995(grandfather) m. Bertha Hooper - Humphreys TN – They moved to Richmond Virginia to work at Dupont in the late 30’s early 40’s
Claude’s parents were:
David Crockett Bell b. 1860 and Rebecca Dotson 1871-1941 Humphreys TN – I have a lot of census info on this family and all the children. I can share it if you would like it.
David’s parents were:
Elijah Bell b 1824 and Sarah C. Bell b 1835 Elijah Bell died early and Sarah C and her 2 children David and Martha lived alone for a period and with other Bell families for a while. In researching Elijah - the rest of my tree is only a guess based on what I can find on line. I think Elijah’s parents were:
Elijah Bell born 1794 and Synthia b 1800
Any help or thoughts on this line would be appreciated. I will share any information that I find with you as well.
