Thank you for your reply, K.D. You are right. He is buried at Rock Island Prison Il. He died 8/2/64 -#1367. He was a PVT in B 10 Tenn Cav and died of Dysentery (sp?) in prison. I call him Jonathan May ,Jr.
His Dad is the one I want to find. I think he was buried around Hurricane Mills in Humphreys Co. He was living in 1860. He was born in NC in 1788. He married Catie (Caty) Lewis in NC and they moved to TN about 1804. Her father was Thomas Lewis a Rev soldier from Anson Co NC.
