I'm hoping someone will be able to do some hunting for me in the probate records in Humphries County. I am hoping to find a full accounting of his probate. We were sent only 2 pages and I'm hoping for more than that. Nothing was mentioned about his children and as some of them were still minors, they should have been.
PLEASANT ROGERS born approx. 1801 - 1810 in Cherokee Nation, Eastern Tennessee. He married twice that we're aware of: Sarah Spicer and then Phoebe Hickman. He died sometime around 1845 in Tennessee.
If someone would be willing to go to the court records and copy this for me, I would gladly pay for it. The sooner the better! A college paper is being written on him and time is of the essence!
