I may be connected. I'm not sure. I think I have traced my McGhee line to Dr. Alexander McGhee of Blount County, TN. If I am correct, I would descend from his second wife, "Ann Dent Lyles" of Jefferson County. She was supposedly a daughter of a Thomas Lyles. Same one as yours?
