Frances NICHOLS Wood, born in TN about 1822, may be the sister of Absolum NICHOLS, who was born in TN about 1817. Frances NICHOLS Wood was my gg-grandmother. There are several parallels I have found between Frances and Absolum.
Absolum NICHOLS married Martha Warriner in Callaway Co, KY in 1839.
Frances NICHOLS married Thomas WOOD in Callaway Co, KY in 1838
Absolum and Martha's son, Coleman, was born in Callaway Co, KY 1840, and other children after 1840.
Frances and Thomas had children born in KY before and after 1843. Their daughter, Nancy J., was born in KY in 1843 assuming it was Callaway Co, KY, since that's where they were married. Thomas WOOD was born in KY about1818, may have been Callaway Co, KY since that's where he married.
Absolum and Martha migrated to Illinois before 1847 where more children were born. Martha was born in Illinois.
Frances and Thomas migrated to Illinois before 1849 where more children were born.
These are too many coincidences not for Absolum and Frances to be siblings or maybe first cousins.
