I have been trying to connect William F. Garrison and Eliza Jane McCollum with a marriage. I've been unable to locate a marriage for this couple in Obion Co. and since Lake was formed from Obion I thought that they might have married there. I suspect they married between 1867-1869.
Eliza Jane was the oldest daughter of Sidney A. McCollum and Sarah Jane Meadows.
I did locate a William, Eliza & son Sidney age 1 month living in Dunklin MO on the 1870 census. Eliza's father was living in Lake Co. and Garrison parents and other family members were living in Obion.
I'm wondering if any others from Lake might have moved to the boot of MO. in the late 1860's with this family.
