Sharp, Mixon, Owens

My great grandfather was Earnest Henderson Sharp, born about 7 Jan 1874, probably in Scott County. I find a Henderson Sharp on the 1880 Census with his mother Martha and her husband David Mixon. There are also two more children that are David and Martha's. There children were James and Sarah. I have no idea if Martha was married to a Sharp or if that was her maiden name. Also, they lived next to some other Sharp's that may be relatives. They are James, Richard and Nancy.

I wasn't convinced at first that this Henderson was my ggrandfather, but now I feel reasonably sure he is.

I found Hence Sharp (the name he went by) on the 1930 Scott Co. Census in the household with his sister and brother in law. They are listed as Hank and Settie Owens. Thinking Settie might be a nickname for Sarah, I looked them up in earlier years. In 1910 I found Hank's wife listed as Sarah and her brother James was living with them. All of this leads me to believe that Hence was the Henderson listed with the Mixon's in 1880. The Owens family had children listed as Frank, Flora, Cora, Lonzo and Ethel.

If anyone knows anything about these families I would sure appreciate any info.
