I need to know what churches were in the Scott Co. area around 1860. And I need to find, if possible, membership lists for those churches. I think I am specifically interested in Methodist churches but would like to check churches of other denominations to be on the safe side. At someone's suggestion, I wrote to the current pastor of one of the Methodist churches a couple of years ago but never received a reply. Is there a resource available to someone out of state to answer these questions?
