Still looking for information on my grandmother B.1904 to Amos Cagle & "Martha Cagle"(she was full Cherokee) I do not have her indian name She was born on the reservation in NC in 1888.Later she was with Claude Ellis Johnson they had a son Hubert Johnson B>1909.From what I have been told
the men came and went as they pleased. The family lived there most or all of their lives. Amos was the father of Flossie Cagle my grandmother.Hubert(Herb) was Claudes son.
my grandmother died in 1947-48. Martha my Ggrandmother died in the 50's no one know when they are buried in unmarked grave about 10 mikes outside of Pikesville I've been told any information would help.Flossie was married to Thomas Berry had 3 kids James 1921 Thomas 1923 Martha Louise1926-she married George VanWinkle in the 30's and they had a son in 1936.
