FLOYD B. CASE, Chemical Company Traffic Manager Dies at Hospital -- Floyd B Case, traffic manager for the William A. Webster Chemical Co. for 20 years, died at John Gaston Hospital at 6:30 o’clock last night following an illness of several months. He was 42 and lived at 3589 Coleman. Mr. Case was a native of Benton Harbor, Mich., and moved to Memphis with his parents in 1906. Before he was employed by the chemical firm, he was with the old Hessig-Ellis Drug Co. for several years. He attended Polk and Lawler Schools, and was a member of the Coleman Avenue Church of Christ and the Memphis Traffic Club. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mollie Case, two sons, Phillip and Robert Case; two daughters, Miss Doris Case and Miss Shirley Case; his mother, Mrs. Emma Case, all of Memphis; three brothers, Clarence Case of Memphis; Jessie Case of Jackson, Miss., and Ralph Case of Washington; and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Davis of Memphis. Funeral services will be held at National Funeral Home at 2:30 o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Memorial Park. (Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, 6-16-1941)

MRS. EMMA CASE, Resident of Memphis Since 1905 Dies At Age Of 79 -- Seriously ill six months, Mrs. Emma Case died at 5:28 yesterday morning at the home of a son, Clarence Case, at 4053 Clearpool Circle. She was 79. Born in Allentown, Pa., Mrs. Case moved to Memphis in 1906 from Benton Harbor, Mich. Until her illness, she was active in the Highland Heights Methodist Church at 3492 Summer. She was the widow of Byron Case, a carpenter, who died in 1927. The Rev. C.N. Holley will conduct services at 10 tomorrow morning at National Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park. She also leaves two other sons, Jesse Case of Jackson, Miss., and Ralph Case of Memphis, and a daughter Mrs. Blanche Davis of Memphis. (Published in The Commercial Appeal, 1-15-1951)

BYRON CASE SUCCUMBS, Had Been Resident Here for Last 21 Years, Burial Tomorrow -- Funeral services for Byron Case, 59, carpenter, of 3428 Galloway Avenue, who died yesterday afternoon, will be conducted by the Rev. E. A. Tucker at the mortuary of Thompson Brothers, 257 Adams Avenue, at 3:30 o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Interment will follow in Memphis Memorial Park. Mr. Case, a native of Indiana, moved to Memphis 21 years ago. He had been in bad health for the last three years, but his condition did not become serious until Sunday night and as the hours passed his condition grew worse. He died at 5:40 o’clock yesterday afternoon. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Berkshire Case; four sons, Jesse H. Case, Clarence D. Case, Floyd B. Case, and Ralph E. Case, and one daughter, Miss Blanche E. Case. (Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, 5-31-1927)
