Found a listing from Shelby County death index for Mary A. Murphy who died 2-2-1901 at age 60 and was buried at Calvary Cemetery. Although I couldn't find a Henry Murphy who died in 1873, I did find a John H. Murphy who died of yellow fever on 10-14-1873 at age 35.

To view the pages from the register of deaths, you may go to the website of the Shelby County Register's records at: http://register.shelby.tn.us/ From the "Archives" section drop down the Search Type to "Death Records 1848-1956" and you may search by name and date ranges.
