ROMIE RAY McCLURE II, 67, of Memphis died Monday at his daughter's home after a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery. He was a veteran of World War II. He leaves his wife, Helen McClure; a daughter, Mrs. Cindy Steward of Memphis; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Becky Pennington of Memphis and Mrs. Beverly Maxwell of Nabb, Ind.; a son, Rusty McClure of Memphis; a stepson, Jimmy Harsin of Monroe, La.; a sister, Mrs. Eillene Lackey of Paris, Tenn., 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 6-27-1989)
