I am looking for Laura Jean (maiden name unk.) Sanders Smith. She was last married to James C. Smith b-Feb. 10, 1922 and d- Aug. 22, 2002.
She is the grandmother to my granddaughter in law. My granddaughter in law's father was Michael Andrew Sanders.
The info below is all I have in the search of Laura Jean Sanders Smith.

Smith, James C.
James C. Smith, 80, of Sardis, died Thursday, August 22, 2002, at his home of heart failure.
Graveside services were held Saturday, August 24, at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in
Sardis. Wells Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Smith was born February 10, 1922, in Arkansas. He was a retired pipe fitter for
Tennessee Valley Authority. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and was
stationed at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Jean Smith of Sardis; three step-sons, Michael Andrew
Sanders of Memphis, Tennessee, Thomas Wayne Sanders of Hernando, and
Johnny Vernon Sanders of South Bend, Indiana; a sister, Beula Anders of Tulsa,
Oklahoma; and eight step-grandchildren.
